Lust Have It Autumn Eco Box

I have really been enjoying the products I have been receiving in the quarterly Lust Have It Eco boxes. I subscribed to this in addition to my monthly subscription box as I have started getting into a lot more organic and natural products in the last few years – I feel like there are so many harsh chemicals surrounding us on a daily basis so trying to stay as natural as possible with beauty products can only be a good thing! Here’s what was inside: For $29.95 every 3 months this  ...

April Bellabox

I actually saw quite a few comments regatding this month’s Bellabox before mine arrived so I must’ve been near the end of their mailing list this time around. I had heard quite a few people say they were disappointed with the box this month. What was included in my box wasn’t too bad but the thing that upset me most was that the hair serum has spilt throughout – everything was covered in it and it has mde my lash cards unusable. Everything else has a greasy coating  ...

Nail of the Day – Sally Hansen Salon Finish in Arm Candy

I was luck enough to be a bridesmaid on the weekend for my childhood friend Nicci. The brief for our nails was nude and subtle so I picked up this colour from the Sally Hansen range last week. I was going to get gel nails for the occasion but with the amount of boot camp and netball I am doing at the moment it just wouldn’t have been practical as they would end up battered and damaged after a few days. I love the finish of these polishes and they last so well on my nails (they are  ...

Time for a Sigma order!

If you’ve been reading this blog for a while you’ll know how much I love my Sigma brushes. They are so lovely and soft and last a long time as a great price. As I had ruined my last two Sigma foundation brushes (the latest is in my last empties post) I decided it was time to place another order and was very happy when they arrived. One of the things I love about Sigma is their beautiful packaging and that they very often include a bonus product (you can find lots of coupon codes  ...

Priceline Beauty Bag

I love when Priceline offers their haircare, skincare and beauty bags. Last year I picked up (ok, maybe several of) the skincare bag and the cosmetics bag so when I heard the 2013 beauty bag was instore I ran down to the nearest Priceline ready to pick it up. I must say before I show you what was inside, it doesn’t seem to be quite as good value as last years bag but since I had intended to pick up a few beauty items from Priceline anyway I figured I may as well get the goodie bag  ...

March Empties

Another month has flown by and it’s time to empty out my bin and put together another empties post! Here’s what I finished up during March: Nivea Extra Gentle Eye Makeup RemoverI have been trying out a few cheaper brands of eye makeup remover as I seem to go through it quite quickly and while I love my Clinique All About Eyes the cost does start to add up! While I liked the Nivea variety I still found it didn’t seem to do quite as good a job of removing my mascara and  ...

Nail of the Day – OPI Anti-Bleak from the Mariah Carey Collection

When I saw that OPI had released a Mariah Carey collection I had to pick up at least one colour to try out! This collection features the new OPI Liquid Sand finish but the colour that caught my eye was Anti-Bleak (a pretty deep plum purple). I loved how opaque this was after just two coats and with my OPI topcoat this lasted all week without chipping too! Have you tried any of the shades from this collection? Hope you are having a beautiful day!

Dry Shampoo Mini Haul

Since I started doing bootcamp at the end of January I have been heading straight to work in the mornings and showering and sadly I’m in too much of a rush usually to wash/blowdry/straighten my unruly hair. Dry shampoo has become my saviour to get me through to the end of the day when I can finally wash my hair! So when I saw that my favourite brand Bastiste was on sald at Chemist Warehouse for $4.99 each I decided to stock up! I’m not too fussed which scents I pick up of these,  ...
